The month of September started with the traditional European Cup on the Trnavka artificial slalom course.
Three disciplines were held, including time trial / sprint, slalom and downriver, teams from three countries took part in the event. In the men category WD TR CVOK won both the races on Saturday while the runner up was always RK Troja. The Slovakian champions BVS Raft Team took the bronze in sprint and WD TR WC came third in slalom. In the ladies category the Slovakian matadors Mistral Bratislava proved their class in the opening sprint followed by WD TR TEVA Tygrici and RK Stan Zeny. In turn, WD TR TEVA Tygrici won the slalom event while RK Stan Zeny came third and Mistral Bratislava took the bronze. The downriver event was on schedule on Sunday. In the men category WD TR CVOK won once again and secured the first place in the Czech selections for the 2010 Euro Champs. The young guns from the Hanace Rafters team came second followed by BVS Raft Team. The ladies from Mistral won the downriver race in the women category, while Hanace Rafters Neonky took the silver and WD TR TEVA Tygrici took the bronze.
